Online hiring demand rises across industries in June 2021: Hunar Online Report


According to Hunar Online LLP, a job analysis shared by popular job site Hunar.Online, shows a 6% increase in job postings across various sectors in the past three months, despite the second wave of the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown.


Data from the index indicates that June 2021 saw an overall monthly growth of 6%, as compared to May 2021, indicating an optimistic outlook for the months ahead. June 2021 continued to show a favorable outlook for job recovery with the easing of the nationwide lockdown as compared to the previous month of May 2021.


A significant increase (39%) MoM was seen in engineering job roles with CNC Operators (32%), and Logistics, Courier/Freight/Transportation (29%).


Job postings on Hunar Online show promising growth across all industries


With the easing of lockdown restrictions, some industries monitored saw positive month-on-month growth.


Industries Like  import/export shown 21%, Manufacturing Shown 15% rise, the highest month-on-month (June 2021 vs May 2021) growth.


Notably, the FMCG (3%) industries have shown positive growth over the previous months, giving an optimistic outlook for recovery.


In addition, agro industries, food packaging and printing industries showed a 1% growth in hiring (June 2021 versus May 2021).


It is positive to note that Hiring for 2-5 years has seen the highest month-on-month growth of 6% over the previous months.

• ESR India will invest in two industrial parks located in Kancheepuram and Krishnagiri districts over the next five years. Once fully operational, both the projects have the potential to create over 4,400 jobs
